Loire With Bontour

When we decided on a relaxing driving break in France, the beautiful scenery of the Loire made it our first choice. Our stay in Angers was lovely, visiting the Chateau and of course the Cointreau museum! We’re currently staying in a converted chateau not far from Saumur that provides the perfect base for exploring the less familiar areas of the region, away from the banks of the great river. And of course we’ve been wine tasting at some of the many vineyards in the area.

A charming and historical Logis de France hotel situated in the heart of the Loire Valley in the town of Fontevraud l’Abbaye (between Saumur and Chinon).
