We’ve decided to stay in Rennes, which gives us easy access to so many of the courses, including the fabulous parkland course of La Freslonniere and the links course at Pleneuf Val Andre. Next time, we might venture further afield and try some of the courses in Normandy or the Loire Valley.

These three magnificent courses are laid out among 290 acres of woodland. The wide fairways bordered by pine trees and water hazards make this an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities. Pessac also has some of the best practice facilities in the region. You could even fit in a spot of wine tasting whilst in this delightful Bordeaux region.
