With over twenty courses on offer, Brittany is the ideal destination for golfers of all abilities. We’ve decided to stay in Rennes, which gives us easy access to so many of the courses, including the fabulous parkland course of La Freslonniere and the links course at Pleneuf Val Andre. Next time, we might venture further afield and try some of the courses in Normandy or the Loire Valley.

15km from Deauville, set in a listed 90 hectare park, this 27 hole course is an oasis of calm. The 9 hole course is perfect for beginners with very few roughs. The 18 hole course has a relatively straightforward front 9 but the back 9 offer a really exciting challenge. Accommodation is available at the Hotel Barriere de Saint Julien (minimum of 2 night stay at the hotel).
